The 20-acre site lies approximately 1½ miles west of Woodland Park on the south side of U.S. Highway 24. The hilltop site offers both excellent access to the highway and advantageous topography. Additionally, the proposed location of the building will offer wonderful views of Pikes Peak while allowing for future growth of an area including residents from Cascade to the east, Fairplay to the west, Westcreek and Tarryall to the north and Goldfield, Cripple Creek & Victor to the south.
In addition to the hospital, the site will also be home to a medical office building and an assisted living facility. Possible future development include additional clinics and an ambulance dispatch facility. |
