Mission Statement

Pikes Peak Regional Medical Center Foundation

The Pikes Peak Regional Medical Center Foundation raised the monies that enabled building the Pikes Peak Regional Hospital. No taxpayer funds were used. Donations and volunteers are needed to continue building the vision.

Volunteers continue to donate their time. In addition to many other activities, they run the Foundation Gift Shop and the Gallery at Pikes Peak at the PPR Hospital.

To show how much they are appreciated, one of our dedicated volunteers will be recognized each month by the PPRMC Foundation.

Elsie Brown, Volunteer of the Month

Elsie Brown is our Volunteer of the Month for February. She moved from New York with her husband to Divide to be near their daughter.  Even though she loves the area, she does find the dirt roads somewhat of an annoyance.  Prior to retiring, Elsie was a High School Librarian for 24 years.

Elsie enjoys volunteering at the gift shop because she meets so many interesting people and it gets her out of the house. For any event, we can count on Elsie to make wonderful, delicious cookies.  Baking and Counted Cross Stitch projects are some of her hobbies.

Working at the gift shop is fun because of the visitors and Hospital staff, but also because of the items that are for sale.  These include hand crafted jewelry, paintings and pottery by local artists.

We thank Elsie for being a caring, dedicated volunteer and for the hours she has spent at the Gift Shop.

The photo on the right shows one of the plants that the volunteers care for.

If you wish to volunteer, email@pprmc.org.
